Discovery by Matt Royal is handmade in Greece around i-Foam, a temperature-regulating memory foam that keeps the temperature of the sleeping surface steady in summer and winter. Two layers of it sit above a pocket spring core with five support zones, so the mattress moulds to the contours of your body and holds its stability at the same time.

Mattress Layers

Layer 1: Knitted Cover Fabric

A knitted fabric with quilted padding, giving a soft yet firm surface.

Layer 2: i-Foam Air Cool

The layer that sets Discovery apart: a temperature-regulating memory foam that moulds to the contours of the body and relieves pressure on the shoulders and hips, while keeping a fresh feel in summer and a steady warmth in winter.

Layer 3: Second i-Foam Layer

A second layer of the same material beneath the first, deepening the way the mattress moulds to the body and carrying the support up from the springs gradually.

Layer 4: Section 5 Pocket Spring Core

Independent pocket springs arranged across five support zones. Each spring moves on its own, so every zone is supported with the force it needs and partner movement is far less noticeable. The spring count rises with larger sizes.

Layer 5: Edges and Base

Perimeter foam supports the sides of the mattress and prevents edge collapse, with a stabilising film that keeps the frame firmly in shape.

Warranty and Returns

• Warranty: up to 10 years, covering the springs, the metal frame, the filling materials and the upholstery. Contact us for full coverage details.
• Returns and exchange: return within 3 days of delivery in original condition (packaging unopened), and immediate direct replacement should any manufacturing defect appear.
• Not covered: damage caused by misuse, placing the mattress on an uneven base or unsuitable slats, folding it, or exposing it to moisture and stains.

What is i-Foam and how does it differ from ordinary memory foam?

i-Foam is a memory foam with temperature-regulating properties, so it moulds to the body like conventional memory foam but does not hold heat in the same way. It gives a fresh feel in summer and steady warmth in winter.

Is the mattress suitable for someone who moves a lot in their sleep?

Yes. The two i-Foam layers absorb movement, and the independent pocket springs stop it travelling to the other side, so a restless sleeper disturbs their partner far less.

Does the mattress reduce partner disturbance?

Yes. Every pocket spring is isolated in its own fabric pocket and moves on its own, so very little vibration travels across to the other side.

Can I try the mattress before buying?

Yes. We provide a dedicated space in our showroom where you can try the mattress in quiet and complete privacy.

What size suits a master bedroom?

Product Care

• Use a liquid-resistant mattress protector to preserve the materials.
• Flip the mattress and reverse its head-to-foot orientation every 3 months.
• Use a flat bed base with suitable slats; an uneven base causes localised sagging that the warranty does not cover.
• Do not fold the mattress, expose it to high humidity, or iron it.
